Creator,

Much pain has been inflicted on our brothers and sisters, are being exposed in a large way presently in Canada, affecting our indigenous family. Many people are confused on the responsibility of these events. As a white person in Canada, I take responsibility for my ancestors and the ignorance I carried not understanding or comprehending the massive hidden agendas created by religion and state. I am appalled by the pain and suffering of the people and their families for the family losses  experienced for so long.

This is tragic and a sick feeling of deception has surely been swept under the table, only now to be exposed. How will we forgive and make amends with such heinous acts? Today is Canada Day. Many of us are not wanting to embrace our flag during this time. My family discussed what we could do as a gesture to heal and support members of our community at this time. A thought came to us to fly the colour of our indigenous people, as a time to reflect on making change. What needs to be done as a collective to ease the fear of the past and move into place of love, acceptance, forgiveness.

We pray for assistance during this time.

Sending love and light to the families for healing.
